How to Measure Your Foot
- Tape a piece of paper to a hard floor with one edge against a wall.
- Stand on the paper with your heel against the wall and your full weight on your foot.
- Mark the tip of your longest toe. Measure both feet — use the larger of the two.
- Measure from the wall to your mark in inches or centimeters, then match it to the chart above.
Fit Tips
Measure at Day's End
Feet swell throughout the day. For the most accurate measurement, measure in the late afternoon or evening, standing with full weight on your feet.
Between Sizes?
If your measurement falls between two sizes, size up — especially in pointed-toe styles where toes need extra room to lie flat.
Heels
In heels, your foot slides slightly forward. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size for a secure fit in pumps and heeled sandals.
Flats & Boots
Flats and boots should feel snug but never pinch. A thumb's width of space at the toe gives the right allowance for all-day comfort.
